Strategizing and empowering Florida’s Big Bend to end homelessness through collaboration, data, and community-driven solutions
The Big Bend Continuum of Care (CoC) is the nonprofit organization designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to lead the Big Bend region of Florida’s coordinated response to homelessness.
We bring agencies together, align funding with what works, manage the data that drives progress, and guide the strategy behind housing, shelter, outreach, and support services.
We connect the pieces, coordinate the response, and keep the system moving—so that every effort leads toward one goal: ending homelessness.
We unify dozens of agencies, partners, and people with lived experience into one coordinated system to end homelessness.
We apply for federal funding and make sure those resources go to programs that help people find housing and support.
We manage the data and tools that support front-line work, track progress, and improve outcomes.
We connect people to housing and services through a fair, consistent process.

We create lasting change by working with partner agencies to help individuals and families access safe, permanent housing while addressing immediate needs through the distribution of essential supplies like food, clothing, and hygiene products. Our coordinated efforts connect unsheltered individuals to vital services and housing opportunities, leveraging a data-driven approach to improve outcomes and drive impactful strategies. Through collaboration and innovation, we’re making homelessness in our community rare, brief, and nonrecurring.
