Makes recommendations to the CoC Board for final approval, shaping how limited resources are distributed across the community.
The Application & Project Review Committee plays a vital role in ensuring that public funds are allocated strategically and responsibly across our region. This committee evaluates all funding proposals submitted through the CoC, assessing each one for alignment with community priorities, HUD and state guidelines, and performance standards. Through a transparent and competitive process, the committee helps ensure that limited resources are directed to programs that demonstrate impact, innovation, and readiness to serve. Their work directly shapes the services available to individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout the Big Bend region.
