Donations
Every act of giving is a step toward home.
Your support empowers a community-wide effort to lift individuals and families out of homelessness. Financial donations fuel programs that expand housing access, improve outreach, and strengthen long-term solutions. Donated goods like food, blankets, hygiene kits, and clothing provide dignity and comfort in times of crisis. And when you volunteer your time, you become part of a network of care — standing alongside shelters, service providers, and our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Together, we create lasting change.
The Big Bend Continuum of Care unites dozens of local agencies and partners under one shared goal: to end homelessness in our region. Your generosity ensures we can respond swiftly, fill urgent gaps, and guide people on a path toward stability. Whether you’re giving money, goods, or time, you’re helping to build a stronger, more compassionate community — one where everyone has a safe place to call home.

We gladly accept donations of new or gently used items such as non-perishable food, blankets, hygiene products, socks, shoes, and seasonal clothing. To coordinate a drop-off or find out what’s most needed, please email us at info@bigbendcoc.org.
Absolutely. Most volunteer opportunities are available through our partner agencies — from helping at shelters to assisting with food distribution. Once a year, the CoC itself hosts volunteers for our Point-in-Time Count in late January, where we survey and support unsheltered individuals across the region. For more information on volunteer opportunities, please email info@bigbendcoc.org.
Every dollar is used to support coordinated efforts to end homelessness — including housing programs, outreach services, emergency needs, and community-wide planning. Donations help fill funding gaps and increase our flexibility to respond quickly where needs arise.
