The CoC Board is the main decision-making body for the CoC. It provides ongoing leadership, policy oversight, and implementation responsibility for fulfilling the purposes of the CoC.
Responsibilities of the CoC Board, as delegated by the CoC, include:
- Overseeing all the work of the CoC
- Governs, but much of the work happens through Committees and Workgroups
- Approves written standards for CoC/ESG programs
- Approves a ranked list of CoC project applications
- Approves CoC policy and procedures for Coordinated Entry
- Establishes committees and workgroups
- Sets CoC goals and/or priorities
The CoC Board is representative of organizations and projects serving homeless subpopulations within our eight counties. The board includes individuals who are currently homeless or have previously experienced homelessness.
